Welcome to our July newsletter

A feature we see being used more often of late is the online contact form that allows you to create a web form that integrates with your Maximizer system in two ways: one allows you to collect and update information from existing address book entries, such as a survey form, and; the other allows collecting new information like that from your ‘Contact Us’ form on your website. The information from both types is pushed into Maximizer instantly and the designated person in your organisation is notified of the data collection in an email. The main objective here is to let you know straight away that a contact is interested in your products and services. You can learn more about this useful feature on the online Help section in Maximizer itself or just give us call to chat about it.

Social media strategies for the new normal – by Leanne Parker

There is no arguing the fact that the current global epidemic has forced most organisations into re-assessing the way that we work and conduct business. And while it seems that most of us have settled into the idea of a more fluid working environment, there are other aspects of our businesses that have likely undergone drastic changes. The marketing and sales industry in particular is probably one of the foremost aspects that have been affected.

In an environment where there are fewer eyes on billboards and fewer feet in trade shows and shopping centres, as well as the trusty Golf Day also being a thing of the past, the next logical step is to stop putting off social media marketing and get stuck in to it to make it work for you.

What is a VPN?

What does a VPN do?
Instead of connecting directly to the internet, your web traffic goes through a Virtual Private Network (VPN) server. This hides your IP address and makes it look like your web traffic comes from your VPN service provider’s network and not your real location which has several benefits.

VPN encrypts your data
Another thing that a VPN does is encrypt your data. This results in only those who are supposed to be seeing your web traffic being able to do so, which increases your overall privacy.

MaxQuotes a winner for Industrial Machine Knives

Maximizer CRM has been an indispensable part of Industrial Machine Knives since 2003. They recently added our quotation add-on, MaxQuote, to their daily routine and according to users Elmien Priestley and Antoinette Horn it is proving to be a winner. “We can now put together a quote for customers in record time”, says Elmien. “The look and feel of the quote output represents our company completely. It is clear, professional and as sharp as our knives, no pun intended”, Elmien added. Antoinette also really enjoys the fact that like Maximizer they have full control now over MaxQuotes and can update items, pricing and templates whenever it suits them. Before MaxQuotes it used to take them a fair amount of time to put together a quote. “Customers are happy now and we are also very happy”, comments Antoinette. One of the features of MaxQuotes is that it also creates sales opportunities, updates the sales pipeline and adds reminders to follow up on the quotes. Please email mark@camsoftcrm.com if you would like to know more about MaxQuotes.
