Hello Everyone,

Welcome to our June newsletter edition – we trust you find it a worthwhile read

In the news this month is the planned roll-out of Maximizer Version 2021 which is packed with a host of new features and functions that you can find by clicking here. The most notable changes are those to the Lead Management function. You can now add processes and stages to the way that you manage leads before adding them to your Address Book. We have also added in Geocoding. As you type in an address or postal code, Maximizer will prompt you with the best match and the address will auto-populate. Geocoding works with Google maps and all it requires is a API account, which is free.

MACS Maritime Shipping puts Maximizer CRM at the hub of its business

MACS Maritime Shipping was founded in 1970. Nine years later, the company commenced a multi-purpose liner service between the United Kingdom, Europe and southern Africa. Today this has become the main activity of the company which now runs a fleet of fourteen vessels, shipping approximately two million tonnes of cargo each year.

Embracing CRM
When Nic Real joined MACS as their IT Manager at the Cape Town offices, MACS had already invested in a Maximizer CRM system. However their adoption wasn’t ideal and they weren’t realising the full potential of the Maximizer solution. “Coming from a previous company that had used CRM heavily, I fully understood the benefits it could bring to our customer-facing staff as well as our customers,” commented Nic. “The biggest barrier is often the human factor because people don’t like change!”, he added.
